Fellowship Application
Ideal Candidate
The Fellowship is for frontline early childhood educators working in DC who are passionate about their work and want to strengthen their professional networks and build their skills.
In order to apply, you must:
- Work directly with children ages 0-5 and have at least one full year experience in the field of early childhood
- Work in a setting that accepts the child care subsidy and/or is classified as a Head Start, Early Head Start, or a Title I program
- At a minimum, have your CDA and be actively working towards your AA
- Receive approval from your supervisor to apply
- Be comfortable communicating in English (listening and speaking)
Beyond these requirements, ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to the work of early childhood education, an intention to stay in the profession, and a desire to learn and grow.
