Non-Discrimination Policy

Educare DC is committed to a work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. Each individual has the right to work in a professional atmosphere that promotes equal employment opportunities and prohibits discriminatory practices, including harassment. This prohibition applies to interactions between Educare DC employees and between employees and any individuals who are not employed by the Educare DC, but who have a business or other relationship with the Educare DC that involves interaction with Educare DC employees.

Educare DC prohibits all employees from engaging in harassment of any kind in the workplace, including harassment based upon race, color, sex, gender, religion, ancestry, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital status, age, disability or other status protected by applicable law. Harassment includes, without limitation, verbal harassment (epithets, derogatory statements, slurs), physical harassment (assault, physical interference with normal work or involvement), and visual harassment (posters, cartoons, drawings, and innuendo).
